Where is the property located, and how far is it from Trieste?
The property is nestled in a peaceful forested area on the western edge of Trieste, Italy just below the Napoleonica Trail, approximately 5 km from the city center. It offers a serene escape while remaining close to the cultural and historical attractions of the region.
Is the property secluded, or are there nearby neighbors?
The house offers privacy and a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature. There are neighbors nearby, but the property feels secluded thanks to the forested surroundings.
What is the size of the property, and how many guests can it accommodate?
The house is a spacious three-bedroom home that can accommodate up to nine guests:
- Bedroom 1: Euro King bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: Euro King bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 3: One Bunk Bed (2 Singles) and one EU Single Bed
- Living Room: Pull-out sleeper sofa
Is the property family-friendly or pet-friendly?
Yes to both! Families are welcome, and pets are allowed with prior approval.
What languages are spoken by the property host/manager?
We speak Italian, English, and French to ensure a comfortable stay for guests from around the world.
What are the Check-in/Check-out times?
- Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early check-ins and late check-outs can be accommodated upon request, subject to availability.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Yes, there is a 3 day minimum with discounts for +5 day stays.
How can I contact the property owner or manager in case of emergencies?
You will receive contact details for the property manager upon booking.

Yes, there’s a spacious outdoor area with seating and a dining table.
Is the property accessible for people with mobility issues?
The property may not be fully accessible for all mobility needs due to it being a 2-story home. Please contact us to discuss specific requirements.
Nature & Surroundings
What wildlife lives in the area?
You may spot deer, wild boars, birds, and small forest animals in their natural habitat. Please do not approach any animals and exercise caution as there are often mothers with their young, and they can be defensive.
Are there hiking or biking trails nearby?
Yes, there are several marked trails for hiking and biking like the famous Napoleonica.
How far is the nearest beach?
The nearest beach is Trieste’s famous Barcola, approximately a 15 minute drive away by car, offering a perfect spot for relaxation.
Is the forest safe to explore, and are there marked paths?
The surrounding woods are private property and part of our neighbor’s homes, so please do not leave our property.
Transportation & Access
Is a car necessary, or is the property accessible by public transport?
A car is recommended for convenience, but alternative transport options are available such as the city bus or the local taxi service. The city bus tickets can be purchased through their app TPL FVG and taxis can be contacted at 040 307730
Is there parking available on-site? How many vehicles can it accommodate?
Yes, free on-site parking is available and can accommodate up to 4 cars.
Are there any specific driving directions or tips for finding the property?
Detailed directions will be provided by us after booking as Google Maps and other popular GPS apps will take you to the wrong location down a difficult road. We also recommend arriving during daylight for easier navigation.
House Rules
What are the rules for noise level?
We observe quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM to respect our neighbors and the woodlands. Parties are not permitted to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
Are pets allowed, and are there any restrictions (e.g., size, breed)?
Pets are allowed with prior approval.
Is smoking permitted inside or outside?
Smoking is not allowed indoors but is permitted in outdoor areas. Please use ashtrays when smoking to help us prevent any fire danger.
What should I do with my trash and recycling?
Please use the bins provided and follow the local recycling guidelines detailed in the welcome guide.
Booking & Payment
What is the cancellation policy?
- Full refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in.
- 50% refund for cancellations made 7–13 days before check-in.
- No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of arrival.
Are there additional fees for cleaning, late check-out, or extra guests?
A cleaning fee is included in your booking. Additional fees may apply for late check-out or extra guests.
